TROUBLESHOOTING CHART -- ICEMAKER NOT OPERATING
NO POWER
Check electrical wiring in con-
trol box for loose connec-
tions.
Check for fai led service
switch or relay.
Check power to machi ne.
ICEMAKER RUNS BUT
DOES NOT MAKE ICE
Condenser fan running
but compressor not running
Check li ne voltage.
Check compress or winding
& components.
LOW WATER SAFETY
SWITCH OPEN
Remote c ondenser

Evaporator water tube
may have an air bubble.
Clear air bubble from
tube.
Check power
to condenser.
Check electrical
wiring in control box
for loose connections .
High pressure
switch open or
cyclingonandoff.
Check that water is turned on.
Check for restric tion in water line.
Check inc oming water pressure
(minimum 10 lbs.).
Check water safety switch.
ICEMAKER OPERATING BUT
SOFT ICE
Check bin switch
Clean all related
drain lines.

GEARMOTOR OVERLOAD
TRIPPED
Check water l evel control
and evaporator water tube
for lime build up restriction.
CAUTION
Clear ice from
evaporator and
auger before re-
setting over-
load.
CLEAN

Icemaker runs

motor does

ICEMAKER
Mechanic al parts worn. S cored evaporator or auger. Worn thrust bearing.
Ice maker not turning off. Failed ice level control.
Over compress ion. Low water i nlet temperature. Res triction in water line from
reservoir.
REFRIGERANT
Contaminated charge or bad compressor.
Low c harge or gas leak.
Low suction pressure. Improper expansi on valve sensing bulb. Loc ation or insulation
and/or defective expansi on v alve
